Reliable
Driving School provides Washington State Department of Licensing
certified Traffic Safety Education and physical skills training for the
teen or adult driver and it is our goal to create a foundation of solid
concepts
that will lead to collision and citation free driving for LIFE.
Washington State Law (RCW 46.20-100)
mandates anyone applying for a license that is under age 18 must
receive 30
hours of classroom Traffic Safety Education, 6 hours of Behind the
Wheel (BTW)
instruction and at least 1 hour of Observation in the car, but not BTW.
Reliable Driving School is
licensed to provide this
training.
Reliable Driving School allows
and encourages students to observe several drives, because learning
takes place even when not directly controlling the vehicle. Parents are
encouraged to participate by observing a drive when their student is
receiving instruction. Parents must recognize, however, that
they are not instructing, but observing the process.
New classes begin about every five
weeks. The current
enrollment fee is $325. Discounts
are available. Look deeper at this site and you will find
some keys to savings.
Normal Office Hours are 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday.
Classes, driving and other appointments
expand these hours. There should be someone in the office on
Tuesdays and Thursdays between 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm during the summer.
